Why Isn’t My V1CE Card Tapping? How to Fix Common NFC Issues

Why Isn’t My V1CE Card Tapping? Here's How to Fix It.

If your V1CE card isn’t tapping properly, don’t worry—it’s a common issue with a few simple fixes. Let’s walk through the steps to get your card working again!

1. Refer to Our Tapping Guide
Start by checking out our Tapping Guide. It shows exactly where to tap on both Apple and Android phones to make sure your V1CE card works properly. Double-check what type of card you have (PVC, Bamboo, or Metal) to ensure you’re following the right steps for your card. 📱💡

2. Still Having Issues?
If the guide didn’t solve the problem, the next best step is to share a video of the issue with us or book a meeting. This way, we can help you in real-time and figure out exactly what’s going wrong. 🎥

3. Common Issues
Here are some common problems that can cause the tap to stop working:

  • Tapping in the wrong place on the phone: Make sure you’re tapping the correct spot on your phone where the NFC sensor is located. 📍
  • Tapping a metal card on the metal side: For Metal cards, always tap the plastic side, not the metal side. 🔄
  • The card doesn’t seem to work at all: If the card still doesn’t work, you may need to re-encode the card. If you only have one card, you can easily do this using your link. We’ll send you a guide to help you reprogram your card. 💻

4. Large Orders
If your card is part of a larger order, please send us a picture of the QR code attached to your card. This will allow us to identify the link and help assign it to the correct card. 📸

5. Reprint Option
If none of the above works and the issue can’t be resolved, we may need to reprint the card. However, we only do this as a last resort to avoid unnecessary costs. 💡
