How to Password Protect Your V1CE NFC Chip for Extra Security

How to Password Protect Your NFC Chip

Protecting your V1CE NFC chip with a password is a quick and easy way to keep your information safe. It stops anyone from skimming or rewriting your card without your permission. Here’s how to do it. 🔒

Why Add a Password?
Your V1CE card doesn’t come with a password by default. Adding one gives your card an extra layer of security, making sure your details stay yours.

Step 1: Download the NFC Tools App
To set up a password, you’ll need the NFC Tools app. It’s free and available for both iPhones and Androids:

Step 2: Open the App and Choose “Other”
Once the app is installed, open it and go to the Other section from the menu.

Step 3: Set Your Password
Tap the Password option and type in the password you want to use. Make sure it’s strong and easy for you to remember. Then click Set to confirm.

Step 4: Tap Your Card to Your Phone
The app will ask you to tap your card on your phone. Hold the card near your phone’s NFC reader to complete the process.

Step 5: You’re All Set!
Your card is now password-protected. No one can rewrite your card without entering the password first.
