V1CE Card Design Requirements: File Types, Resolutions, and Tips

Design Requirements for V1CE Cards

If you're designing your V1CE card, here’s everything you need to know to create the perfect file. Let’s make your card stand out! 🎨

File Types We Accept
For PVC and Bamboo cards, you can use these file types: JPEG, PNG, PDF, AI (Adobe Illustrator), PSD (Photoshop), and EPS.
For Metal Hybrid cards, we recommend high-quality JPEG, PNG, or PDF, along with AI, PSD, or EPS.

Resolutions to Use
Your design will look its best when the resolution is between 250dpi and 600dpi. Files below 250dpi may look blurry or pixelated. ❌

Colour Formats
We use CMYK (Cyan, Magenta, Yellow, Black) for printing. Digital mockups will appear in RGB, so expect slight differences in color. 🎨

Important Design Details
Vector paths should be at least 0.25 pt thick. Fonts should be converted to curves/paths or embedded in the PDF. The minimum font size is 6 pt to guarantee print quality.
The size of the card is 86mm x 54mm.
Nominal logo sizes are 6x4 cm, 5x3 cm, or 4x2 cm.
QR Code size is 2.1 cm x 2.1 cm.

Full Bleed/Edge-to-Edge Designs
For designs that go right to the edges, submit a slightly larger file (+10mm) to ensure accurate printing. This is recommended for Sapele and White PVC cards.

Back Design Rules
Back designs (with or without QR codes) are allowed if your order includes 5 cards or more, you’ve ordered back designs before, or you’re a VIP or big-brand customer. 👑
