Creating a Direct URL in V1CE: A Step-by-Step Guide

What is a Direct URL?

A Direct URL allows you to link directly to an external website, service, or resource from your V1CE Smart Link. This makes it easy to share additional content, such as your website, portfolio, booking page, or contact form, all within your networking setup.

Instead of manually typing out URLs, you can copy and paste the link into your Smart Links section and assign it to the correct Smart Link.

💡 Example: If you have a Smart Link named "John Doe", the Direct URL should match John Doe’s official link, ensuring proper redirection.

How to Create a Direct URL in V1CE

✔ Go to Networking Tools – From your V1CE dashboard, navigate to Networking Tools.
✔ Select "Direct URL" – Choose the Direct URL option to begin.
✔ Enter the URL – Copy and paste the website link or any external URL you want to share. Ensure it follows the correct format.
✔ Preview and Save – Check the preview to confirm the URL is correct. The link will be auto-saved upon entry.
✔ Assign the URL to the Correct Smart Link – Navigate to Smart Links, find the relevant Smart Link (e.g., "John Doe"), and assign the Direct URL to it.
✔ Check for Newly Added Content – The new Direct URL will now appear next to your current live content.
✔ Edit or Rename if Needed – You can rename, edit, or update the Direct URL anytime from your dashboard.
