Re-Encoding Your NFC Card

How to Re-Encode Your V1CE Card 🚀

Has your V1CE NFC card stopped working when you tap it? No worries—you just need to re-encode it so it starts working again. This guide will walk you through it in a few quick steps.

What is Re-Encoding? - Your V1CE card is like a hotel key card—sometimes, it just needs to be reprogrammed so it knows where to send people when they tap it.

---------

🛠️ Step 1: Download the NFC Tools App

Before we start, you’ll need an app to reprogram the NFC chip inside your card. Download “NFC Tools” here:

📱 Apple App Store: Download Here
🤖 Google Play Store: Download Here

Once installed,
open the app, and let’s get to work!

 ---------

Before you can re-encode your card, you need to copy your Link URL.

1️⃣ Scan the QR code on your V1CE card using your phone’s camera.
2️⃣ A link will appear in your browser’s URL bar—this is your Smart Link.
3️⃣ Copy the URL (long press it and hit “Copy”).

❌ Can’t find your Link? No problem! Just reach out to V1CE Live Chat for help.

 ---------

📲 Step 3: Re-Encode Your Card

Now that you have your Smart Link, let’s reprogram your NFC card:

1️⃣ Open the NFC Tools app.
2️⃣ Click on Write and select Add a Record.
3️⃣ Choose Custom URL and paste your Link into the field.
4️⃣ Click OK, then hit Write.
5️⃣ The app will prompt you to hold your NFC card against your phone’s NFC reader:
iPhone Users: Hold the card near the top front of your phone.
Android Users: Hold the card near the middle-back of your phone.
6️⃣ Once the card is successfully written, you’ll see a ✅ Tick Icon—meaning it’s done!

💡 Important: If the app asks for NFC permissions, allow them so it can write to your card.

 ---------

✅ Step 4: Test Your Card

Before you walk away like a boss, make sure it’s working!

1️⃣ Tap your V1CE card on a phone to test it.
2️⃣ It should open your Smart Link instantly.
3️⃣ If it works—you’re all set! 🎉

❌ Still Not Working? Try re-writing the link again or reach out to V1CE Live Chat for help.
