The following guide will walk you through step-by-step how to activate your phone case.

Let's start with the location of the NFC chip within your phone case; this is important as you will need to tap the case on your phone to activate it & it is also a good practice to know where others need to tap to get your information.

The below images show the NFC chip locations on varying phone case models. Different models have the NFC chip in various positions, depending on where the phone's NFC reader is. The best way to tell the location of the NFC tag is by looking at the V1CE Logo on the case.

Now that we know where the NFC chip is, we can activate it; however, activation is slightly different on iPhones and Android Phones.

iPhone Activation 

Activating your phone case is extremely simple; all you need to do is place the phone case on the front top portion of your screen, as illustrated below.

Android Activation

Activating your phone case on an android all depends on the location of the NFC reader. By nature, most android phones have the NFC reader located in the middle of the phone. Where this is the case, you need to hover the NFC chip in this position to read the tag.

Once tapped, the activation screen will display what looks like the image below.

You then need to log in to your V1CE account or create an account using Facebook, Sign in with Apple, or an email and password.

Once activated, the card will now show in your account, as seen below.

From here, you can now create an action for your phone case to share when tapped.
