Password Protecting Your NFC Chip

The V1CE products that are encoded in the chips are not automatically password protected.

 

Using a simple app called NFC Tools, you can quickly and easily add a password to your card and add an extra layer of protection. This will stop someone from skimming your card and rewriting it.

Now how to set the password using the NFC tools app.

 

1. Open the app and click other

2. Click password and type in a password which you wish to add to the product and click set

3. You will now be prompted to tap your product on your phone

4. The product is now password protected and can not be re-written without first removing the password.
