Design requirements

Design requirements

File types for designing are,

  • JPEG, PNG, PDF, AI, PSD, and EPS for PVC and Bamboo,
  • JPEG (high quality), PNG (high quality), PDF (high quality), AI, PSD, and EPS for Metal Hybrids

Accepted resolutions are,

The optimal resolution for the print files is between 250dpi and 600dpi. Anything lower and the image quality will be substandard and unfortunately pixelated.

 

Colour formats used are,

We use CMYK (Cyan, Magenta, Yellow, and Black) format for printing, all digital mockups will appear to be RGB.

 

Additional information,

  • Vector paths should have a weight of at least 0.25 pt.
  • Fonts should be embedded in the PDF or converted into curves/paths. The minimum font size (below which we cannot guarantee perfect print quality) is 6 pt.

Size of the cards,

- 86mm x 54mm

 

Nominal logo size,

- 6x4 cms, 5x3 cms or 4x2 cms

 

Size of the QR,

- 2.1 cm x 2.1 cm

 

Full bleed/ Edge to Edge designs,

Slightly bigger sized files (10 mm) and can be done in Sapele and White PVC (recommended).

 

Having back designs,

Back designs (with/ without QR) are only permitted if,

  • The order has 5 cards or more
  • Has done so previously
  • Big/ VIP brands
